Terry, 46, died after being stabbed in Northlands Park at around 1.30am on Sunday 11 July.
We want to identify these four men who were captured on CCTV in Lincoln Road area at around the time of the attack.
Seven people arrested on suspicion of Terry’s murder are currently on bail, further to this a woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detective Chief Inspector Louise Metcalfe, from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, is leading the investigation and said:
“These four people were in the area at the time of the murder, they may have seen something which could be important.
“I need to identify them and speak to them to find out if they have saw or heard anything.
“If you recognise any of them, or you are one these men, please contact my team.”

28/07/21 – Detectives investigating the murder of Terry Leeks in Basildon have made another two arrests.

A 16 year-old boy from Basildon has been arrested today (Wednesday 28 July) on suspicion of murder.
A 19 year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They are both currently in custody.
23/07/21 – A man who was stabbed to death in a Basildon park has now been named by police.
Forty-six year-old Terry Leeks was found injured in Northlands Park at around 1.35am on Sunday July 11.
He was taken to hospital but, sadly, died from his injuries.
A forensic post-mortem found he had sustained a stab wound to his stomach, with a murder probe also launched.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Louise Metcalfe, from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said:
Our investigation into Terry’s death continues to progress well.
We believe there may still be people out there who have information about what happened who’ve not yet come forward to speak to my team and I need them to do so.
The information you have may be crucial to providing Terry’s family with justice.
We need anyone who saw what happened, has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to come forward.

16/07/21 – Six people have now been arrested and released on bail in connection with the death of a man in Northlands Park, Basildon, on Sunday 11 July.
A 31-year-old man and a 46-year-old man, both arrested on suspicion of murder, have been bailed until 5 August.
Two men, aged 41 and 45, a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail until 6 August.
A 38-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy who were arrested as part of the investigation will face no further action.
14/07/21 – Detectives investigating the death of a man in Northlands Park, in Basildon, have made three further arrests this morning.
During a series of warrants across Basildon, two men, aged 31 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of murder while a 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The trio remain in custody for questioning.
Two men, aged 41 and 45, a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on conditional bail until August 6.
A 38-year-old woman arrested as part of the investigation will face no further action.
12/07/21 – Detectives investigating the murder of a man who was found injured in Northlands Park in Basildon at the weekend have made a fifth arrest.
In the early hours of today, a 38 year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and she is also currently in custody.
Police can hold those arrested, in police detention for up to 96 hours before charges or release, if you’re suspected of a serious crime, eg murder.
Police had been called to Northlands Park at 1.35am today (Sunday 11 July) to reports of a man injured, they arrived and found a man with a stab wound to his stomach. He was taken to hospital but, sadly, later died there.

A male and female were walking through the park and for whatever reason, the male was stabbed in the stomach, a local fisherman attempted to aid the male until paramedics arrived.
A 42 year-old woman, two men aged 41 and 45, and a 15 year-old boy have all been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.

Essex Police assistant chief constable, Andy Prophet, paid tributes to his officers for their quick action.
He said: “Very quick arrests made by Essex Police. Specialist officers are investigating. Basildon communities can be reassured we believe this is a very isolated matter. We will have additional officers in the area of Northlands Park as we continue with this investigation.”
